Nové Sady, until 1948 Ašakert (Hungarian: Assakürt) is a village and municipality in the Nitra District in western central Slovakia, in the Nitra Region.[4]

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1156.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 162 metres (531 ft)[3] and covers an area of 17.47 km2 (6.75 sq mi) (2024).[5]
