Wood River Township is one of thirty-one townships in Custer County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 324 at the 2020 census.[1] A 2021 estimate placed the township's population at 321.[1]
The Village of Oconto lies within the Township. The township covers roughly 142.9 square miles, which is mostly land. According to the 2020 census, the population was 324, and has decreased a little.[2]
