Vimont (French pronunciation: [vimɔ̃] ⓘ) is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France.
Geography
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Saint-Pierre Oursin, La Vieille Église and Vimont.[3]
The Ruisseau des Petits Marais stream flows through the commune.[4]

- Memorial for Battle of Val-ès-Dunes a memorial dedicated to the site of the Battle of Val-ès-Dunes in 1047 built in 1851 by Arcisse de Caumont.[5][6]
National Heritage Sites
- Château à Vimont an eighteenth centaury chateau that was classed as a Monument historique in 1978.[7]
