Richard Clair Gabriel (30 August 1927 – 10 October 2006) was an English rower.

Biography

Gabriel represented the England team[1][2] and won a gold medal[3] in the coxed four event (as the coxswain) at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff, Wales.[4][5]

Gabriel was a member of the University College London Boat Club.

Gabriel died on 10 October 2006, at the age of 79.[6][7]
