As a true freshman at Boston College in 2022, Bowry appeared in seven games, serving as the team's starting right tackle in games against Wake Forest and UConn.[4] He redshirted as a sophomore in 2023 while appearing in three games.[4] In 2024, Bowry became the team's starting left tackle and started all 12 regular season games, allowing only two sacks while receiving a pass blocking grade of 75.7 from Pro Football Focus (PFF).[5] As a redshirt junior in 2025, he was named team captain and started nine games at left tackle.[4] Although he had remaining eligibility, Bowry opted to declare for the 2026 NFL draft.[6] He finished his collegiate career with 31 games played, 23 as a starter.[7] Bowry was invited to the 2026 Senior Bowl.[4]
