The Blue Line is the third line of the Jerusalem Light Rail. While initial preparatory infrastructure work began in 2020, major construction on the central sections and the 2 km (1.2 mi) city-center tunnel commenced in early 2025.[1]
The line is expected to be completed in stages, with full operations projected for 2030 or 2031.[2] Once finished, the 31-kilometer (19 mi) line will consist of 53 stops and is predicted to serve approximately 250,000 passengers per day.
