Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is a hotel and casino complex located along Palm Beach on the northwestern coast of Aruba.[1] The Atrium-style Resort is situated on 10 oceanfront acres with 600 feet of beach frontage.[2]
The property opened in1995, and is part of the Marriott Hotels & Resorts portfolio.[3]
The resort stands next to two additional Marriott properties, Marriott's Aruba Ocean Club and Marriott's Aruba Surf Club, both part of the Marriott Vacation Club brand.
Facilities
The resort includes a central family‑friendly swimming pool with a swim‑up bar and multiple on‑site amenities such as the Mandara Spa and a selection of dining venues.[4]
The Mandara Spa, measuring 6,500 square feet, is the largest spa on the island and includes saunas, steam rooms, and an expanded outdoor courtyard equipped with a hot tub and cold plunge pool.[5]
The Stellaris Casino, located within the complex, operates 24 hours a day and is the largest casino in Aruba, featuring 28 gaming tables and 522 slot machines.[6]
Adults‑only areas at the resort include the H2Oasis Pool and the Tradewinds Club, an exclusive section offering additional services and amenities.[4]
Tradewinds Club
The Tradewinds Club is an adults‑only premium level within the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, available to guests aged 18 and over. The section offers ocean‑view accommodations, a reserved parking area, private check‑in, and access to a dedicated concierge.[7] Tradewinds guests have use of a private lounge throughout the day, where five complimentary food and beverage presentations are served, along with a premium open bar during select hours.
Additional amenities include upgraded in‑room products, enhanced bath amenities, and premium coffee service. Guests also receive access to a designated beach area and may request select services such as complimentary pressing. The Tradewinds Club is designed to provide an elevated, resort‑within‑a‑resort experience through added convenience, privacy, and exclusive facilities.[5]
Dining
The resort hosts several dining venues, including Ruth’s Chris Steak House, a franchised fine‑dining steakhouse.[8]
The property features a beachfront seafood restaurant, Atardi. The restaurant is set directly on Palm Beach at sunset and focuses on seafood selections along with meat entrées. [5]
Mercát, the resort’s Mediterranean‑inspired restaurant, features a shared‑plate dining concept influenced by the cuisines of Spain, Italy, Lebanon, and Greece. Its interior incorporates blue and neutral tones, with expansive windows overlooking the Caribbean Sea.[5]
Other options include The Lobby, a bar offering cocktails and sushi, as well as Starbucks, Gelato & Co., and Waves Bar and Grill, a poolside bar serving drinks and food.[9]
Renovations
A multimillion dollar renovation of all 414 guestrooms and suites was completed in December 2025.[4] The project introduced updated interior designs across the property. The renovation also encompassed the resort's 24 suites, each measuring approximately 625 square feet .
Guestrooms and suites are designed with a coastal‑inspired aesthetic using neutral tones accented by coral and sea‑glass colors. Floor‑to‑ceiling windows provide natural light and views of Palm Beach and the Caribbean Sea. Bathrooms were updated with double marble‑topped vanities, back‑lit mirrors, walk‑in showers with waterfall shower heads, and, in select suites, oversized soaking tubs.[5]
